The Prick (originally The Prick Records)was a group of musical punk, proceeding from the   Pais Vasco (Spain). It was inassets from 1979 until  2003. In 1984 theyextracted a more finished album, of 19 songs, called "Save". In its letters they dostrong criticism against the fascism, the capitalism, the nationalism, theauthoritarianism, the Catholicism, thepolitics, the alienation, the fashion, andother factors of the society, something thatwould characterize all its career. In contrastto other bands of the epoch arisen inworking or industrial districts of big cities,the origin, let's say it like that, rurally aboutLPR, it will have its importance in occurringof the group. Apart from the isolation inthe first moments with regard to the rest ofBasque Country, the return after tours orrecordings once the group had detachedwas serving to the people to put them in itsplace, with the feet in the ground. LPR isalready a band consolidated with a speechclear and hard anti-system; there indexespunk forced in the whole state. Asked inthis first stage of its career, especiallyvirulent, on the possible message in itssongs, the group was declaring himself inthe following terms: "We give surely thepeople can think. We touch and say whatwe think and it was; it does not have anymore mystery. It can be a message forwhich he wants to receive it, we do notorder it to him”. The radical proposal of the band is not always well received in all theplaces to which the group moves to act. Insome cases, the problems were arisingsimply for the aspect of the groupAs proper Evaristo comments with certainlamentation accent in an interviewgathered in the documentary. 

FAMILIAR EXPERIENCE: My father for thepublication of this song was in the militaryservice, epoch of personal rebelliousnessalthough it was not part of any this groupwas one of its favorite groups and this songbrings to him memories of the militaryservice, of listening to it I come upundercover, it brings to him a feeling offreedom, the adolescence, a very goodsensation to the power to expresseverything suppressed during the years ofthe Franco period.Also my father lost a grandfathermurdered by civil guards and this isanother way of identifying with the song
